Got some Vectra rear door handles, that I want to colour code and fit to my Corsa Sport

I have taken the handles apart, and sanded down the base (where the lock used to be) and the front of the handle (bit you pull + see), but what about the back of the handle (bit you pull + don't see)

Will the primer stick to this bit if I can't get the sand paper in there to sand it all down? Does this make sense?

I'm using Halfords own Plastic Primer if it makes a difference

sand it down a little and it will stick, don't worry bout the finish or anything as no one is gonna see it

why wud u colour code something no one can see?

Are the handles a direct swap
