I'm whacking on a set of GTi-6 calipers/pads/discs up front, and want to know if using Braided hoses will help? Stiffer peddle? Better response?

worth it even if your on standard brakes if you want better feel. IMO anyway

think the set of 4 goodridge were about £50 back about 2 years ago when i bought mine

gives a much better feel to the pedal especially if youre sticking bigger calipers than standard on

They prevent bulging of the brake lines, meaning reduced "spongey" feel to peddle i believe......but i wasnt too sure.

Wheres a good place to get em?

kinda correct there.

they stiffen the brake lines as the yare braided and dont flex like the normal rubber shite, therefore giving a firmer pedal

you can get them from pvd and loads of other places

when i wanted mine for the golf i asked on clubgti about pricing, people posted the price they paid and where they got them - then i just chose the cheapest of the replies!
