they play the music that radio one tell them to, thats the real reason they are leaving. if people read up on these things before talking shite it would be quite straight forward.
they constantly take the piss out of certain songs they dont like after the song has been played

I find myself listening to radio 2 out of sheer boredom on long journeys and I dont like the fucking music they play either

chris moyles on r1 is about as funny as a rectal prolapse.

Mark and Lard were legends compared to the utter shite that is one now.
Jo Whiley wouldn't know a good feature if it her, Moyles is aural thrush, Sara Cox can be very hit and miss and Dave Pearce and Scott Mills have the personality of an ironing board.

Top off awful DJ's with a playlist made up of PC "urban/RnB" plus bland euro dance, pop idol/pop stars/fame academy shite and sacriligious cover versions and it's pretty easy to see why they are losing more and more listeners to Radio2.

Radio2 for me now mostly, I just get pissed off with Radio1 when they play a song for the fourth time in a day or Moyles won't shut up about somehting pointless. Switch over round dinner time though as it's all talking and debates.
Steve Wright in the afternoon is shit hot though.

Radio1 set of on the slippery slope when Chris Evans left, then Simon Mayo. Mark and Lard were the last of the "old guard" and the playlist leaves nothing worth listening to.

Also, Fat Harry White (was class today) one man and his frog, chalk or cheese, cheesily cheerful chart challenge, london's not burning, slim and shady squirrels, stop/carry on, no need, Shire Horses, in depth reportage, chart forecast, great moments in pop, Lard's prank calls and that's barely a tenth of the features they have come up with.

Compare with Jo "one quiz" Whiley and Moyles "car park catch phrase and tedious link"
