well he is looking to modify it, but need to go to vauxhall as they are offering free insurance for over 21's and don't know if this car will be included.

The Corsa C is boring - all engines fail to excite.

They've had this supposed Corsa C GSi on the cards for years - everyone that WAS interested has now gone off and bought something predictable like a CTR or Cupra-R.

i've got a brand new 1.8sri, not had it long only since 10th march. one thing about the wheels ask about the stud patterns cos mine is only a 4 stud even thought its a 04 car. sri is not one of the models with the free insurance.

wrong, what the hell is OPC productions??? Its just OPC which stands for Opel Performance Cars. Mainland Europe only. Vauxhall will call Corsa GSi instead, not OPC. OPC are just designing the panels and interior, they aint touching the engine. Thats down to Opel/Vauxhall themselves. I am very doubtful on its future now though. However the new Tigra has a 1.6 Turbo option, maybe its the same engine they were gonna drop in the Corsa??

All wrong... the correct answer is...
bullshit
Don't waste your time believing a word the "press" department have to say about future models. Nothing good has come out of the Corsa C programme other than the OPC concept a couple of years ago.

I think the Corsa D will be more lively and exciting.
Saying that if you were to fit the Dblias inlet manifold to the 1.8 16v with the uprated cams etc from Regal the engine would be putting out over 170bhp and would cost you a little over 2k.
Reading that again, na not worth it just fit a LET

What difference is 200cc gonna make, surely it will be as quick as a 10 year old 2.0??

ha ha your wrong!!!!
opc actually OPC stands for opel performance centre. they have designed the z16net turbo engine and Adam Opel as a company are manufacturing the engine. there will not be any more Vauxhall GSi models as the firm are now changing gsi spec models to VXR, to mimic the Vauxhall Racing Team. the turbo engine is going inbto the tigra but the corsa will have only a tuned 1.8 to about 150bhp. this is due to the fact that the c is being replaced in april 2006
