bought this for £950 from near chester
1.4 sri 16v
destined for a 2litre engine i was going to opt for an XE, but as it was only a project car i thought i'd go for the C20LET turbo
so i saw this on ebay and was the winning bidder on it(this was from saltney chester)
so i took the turbo out the astravan
and proceeded to take the 1.4 sri engine out of the corsa
theres that beloved engine trolley skateboard thing
made some mounts up and then got hold of these
the mounts fitted
the engine in place
the farking wiring was a bitch though look at this lot
engine finished and runnin lovely, was overfueling at first due to being stood for a while, lots of black smoke but after 5mins was all good
only thing is i wish i'd never stuck a psg2wide kit on it but its a bit late for that now
all constructive criticism and opinions welcome

There is something amiss with that Corsa.
If its a 1.4 16v why the hell has it got the old 1.4 Si badges on the back?
This normally indicates that the car has a 1.4 8v MPi engine

There's nothing worse than cleaning cars - the fiddly bits have no chance

its had 5 owners before me so maybe someone transplanted the 16v engine coz 8v are crap
