I got a few problems with getting the fuel tank off.

FIRSTLY the fuel gauge on me dash says that there is 2 bars of fuel left, and its flashing the warning light. How much fiel is left in the tank? I tried syphoning the rest of the fuel out of the tank, but I can't find it! Would it be safe to leave that fuel in the tank while removing it?

SECONDLY to de pressurise the fuel system, should I disconnect the power from the fuel pump from the fuel tank or do I have to find the relay for it?

FINALLY, I can't jack the bloody car up, even with the fucking scisor jack in the boot , an hints on how to do that, cos I gotta get it up on axel stands... Cheers guys

once uve jacked it up just pull fuel line from fuel tank and drain that way, and to jack up drive on to some wood or bricks as said above or just put full lock on cos u can then get to the jacking points with a trolley jack

Yea, I saw that that was in the way. I know how to do that though, cos I put it on... Cheers.

I just had a thought... If I jacked the car up just on one side at the front and rear, to tilt it, could I get the rest of the fuel out? Or should I just leave it...

Would you mind taking a pic of your fuel tank? I need to know whether Corsa & Nova tanks are the same.

Did you change any of your fuel lines Adam?
