I know i should be ringing the Citizens advise about this and i will in the morning but i would like to know in advance of anyone's exeriences on the subject..
Basically....
If you buy a car Trade for cash and in any way are not happy with it are you allowed to get your money back no questions asked by law in a certain operiod of time?
I'm not going into detail about this until i know what i'm doing but need an answer
Cheers in advance..

No this is trade marc.I know if you buy goods from a shop even if you don't have the receipt you can take it back if your not happy withtin 30 days and get your money back by law.
I just thought this would be the case for cars aswell?? The cars got a warrenty like.
Yeah marc it's the Audi mate After picking it up 5 DAYS ago the clutch is fuked! Went to change from second to third and the clutch pedal went in and never came back! scared the shit out of me as i wasn't expecting it It has happend 7-8 times sice aswell so i dropped it off yeasterday. I got my garage to check it out and he said it's a common fault on the Golf 1.8T which is basically the exact same car.The clutch fails to disengage and it's a sure sign it's failing...costs £££££££££££££££££ aswell apparently.
A few other faults have occured with it aswell and if they don't sort all of them out i want my money back and just wanted to know were i stand
I've fuked up big time this time i think!

if they start acting balshy, then just say you will get citizens advice to help out & persue it in small claims court.
If you've had it less than a week then you've not been sold what was advertised & not made aware of any problems.

Unless you have no warrenty then you have rights obviously. No warrenty and they have no legal obligation, sold as seen.
Even without warrenty this sounds exceptional so make a fuss, threaten legal action, tell them you'll be in contact with local press etc.

my dad has a car garage ,ill ask him what the comeback is , i am almost positive you have some comeback! 90% anyways.
you could always make a threat about calling and letting the local paper know , and watchdog.
u usually get a few month warrenty anyhow when u buy a car from a dealer
