ive swapped my gsi interior n thats quite in good nick, but just wearing on the drivers side a bit

Do what the previous owner of mine did - swap the seats over, you'll even up the wear on to the passenger side that way. You get pissed tipper handles and you have to open to the door to recline the seat but its better than a hole!
