They would look lush if you got the facelift lights.

Have them on my C and they are the best i have ever had. Look as close to HID as you can get, are brghter without being blinding and look blue.

Definitely worth the money!

7500K doesn't refer to brightness, it refers to the colour-temperature of the light. 7500K (in degrees Kelvin) is pretty cold white... (hence it is blueish)

Look good though

How does one measure the temperature of a colour?

Colour temperature means the temperature of an ideal black body radiator, at which the colour given off is identical to the source you're trying to compare it too. That is, if you had a perfect black material, you'd have to heat it to 7500 Kelvin (7227 degree's C) for it to give off the same colour light as the bulbs. It's all theorectical as you can't have a pure black body

(A black body is a theoretical radiator and absorber of energy at all electromagnetic wavelengths.)

HID usually use only around 5000K (daylight approx) bulbs anyway...

The reason you get the puple tint when you see a HID light bouncing along the road is due to diffration on the sharp edge on the lamp housing cut-off....

I'd be more worried that 7500K is approximately the same as light on a clear (blue sky) day... Blue is the hardest colour to see under (human eye/short wavelength problems) and it gets even worse when it's raining. Wet surfaces absorb blue light and so driving with blueish lights in the dark/wet will not really show as much as conventional bulbs... this is why HID lamps have recently started using lower temperatures (4200K I think Audi/BMW use now instead of 5000K)...
