We are looking for show cars for a special enclosure at the Max event on the 2nd May if you and your car are up for it send details of mods who and what you drive and a shot of said vehicle either by post toCrail Airfield Promotions Balcomie road Crail Fife KY10 3XL.Or by email to mail@crailraceway.co.uk
Every type of mod ice/engine/bodykit and vehicle will be required so if youve got it flaunt it at our biggest event of 2004 and we will look after you.

Its not a Strathy stand its something that Willie is trying to orginise himself.
However Strathy will be concentrating its efforts on the bigger shows this year(Fast car Full On, Knockhill, Street and Strip, Fast and Modified, Santa Pod, etc) as Willie has given nothing back to the clubs that have supported him over the years.
There are curently many debates about what should happen to Crail.
I have posted some coment that have been passed to myself and you can make your own mind up.
These are e mails that have been sent to me by Willie and traders that use Crail. The people involved have asked me to feel free to post these on any site.
Hope this gives people some more facts. I have not posted all coments as i have been sent over ten pages of information and i do not want to bore people to death.

I've sat back and read all the comment going back and forth for some time now and would like to draw attention to a few statistics. I don't want to cause my business any grief so have asked Stuart to relay this information on my behalf as it really cuts deep to see so many misstruths being banded around.
Last summer for the Max Power event we were interested in having a trade stall on the day and enquired what figures you were expecting. We were told that on a day like that (a magazine featured event) between 8,000 and 10,000 people would come from all over the country. So taking that figure in to account here is what I'd roughly estimate your takings on the day to be.
10,000 customers * £10 = £100,000
300 drag strip customers * £15 = £4,500
5 trade stands * £150 = £750
On that one day the turnover would be £105,250 not including the catering tender that went for over £20,000 for the year.
If the other magazine days made even half of that you would still be making £50,000 per day. So for another 4 big events per year that would be at least £320,000 (excluding smaller fortnightly gigs, private track hire for car clubs and other sundry days).
I think its time to come clean and admit that you aren’t as hard done by as you make out and the admission on television that you gave up farming for the more lucrative and profitable thrash day’s means you are obviously rolling in it. Why else would you have had such a high turnover of exotic sports cars from 911 turbo to BMW M3 to Noble M12 and onward.
Get the nut screwed stop looking for sympathy and start giving the paying customers who line your pockets every couple of weeks something they can actually be proud of instead of charging them £10 to stand in the middle of a fucking field.
