ive had this problem since i bought my corsa 2 months ago, the handbrake light keeps comin on when i turn round corners on the road.
it comes on alot when the car is cold in the morning. ive been told its brake fluid but ive checked that and thats ok. it bothered me at first but now im used to it and i aint that bothered.
anyone else had this problem and did it go away eventually?
do u think i should be bothered or shall i just leave it
can it cause any long term effects to my car?

yeah but the handbrake warning light also warns of low brake fluid!!!!! its a twin switchable circuit. earth trigger on handbrake switch and positively triggered on the sensor in brake fluid reservoir. so either low fluid dicky handbrake switch or there is a short to earth somewhere

usually topping up with brake fluid will sort it out, but the problem is usually your low on fluid because you are leaking brake fluid somewhere in the braking system - most common are the rear cylinders im experience
