watched the live race from Thruxton today, was "ok" but had watched a bit of the 1995 season review a min ago, and made me relise how shit it is now

was sooooooo good when every manufacture was in it, and anyone had a canche of winning, and where blantanly tactics were employed by teams to get other drivers out of the race

made me think what was the best btcc car ever, and IMO was the 95 Cav, witht he swindon race tuning engine, with the reversed head (tbs facing fowards), love it

Best race i ever saw was my fave driver time harvey in pug 406 (Green and gold)

Spun out i think, had to go to pits to change wheels to wet/dry tyres, came out in 22nd, 2 laps later he was 2nd shame it was last lap as if hed of had 1 more he would of caught 1st place too man is a fookin legend !

1995 Brands hatch indy circirt, cleland crashes and spins out, laps only 45sec, so by the time he's back rydells lapping him, come up to padock, and blue flags all waving, but cleland ignors them, and won't let rydell through

so rydell tags him and send him spining into gravel writing off that chassis

tell u what the defining moment of btcc was

when Audi went fuck you all, were gonna use 4wd

same season, donnington, pissing down, and the audis overtook the grid on the grass, by first corner rest of grid were about 1 sec behind allready

how excellent was that.......those audi's were the absolute bollox. In the dry they were good, but in the wet they set lap record after lap record!! lolol

The next year they had weight penalties didnt they or summat? to level it out? Then they had to go FWD?
