Is £50 a good price to change the exhaust manifold gasket. Its on my megane, loads room at the front of the engine so its not too difficult the do the job. Im guessing its a 2 hour job.

Do it yourself and save £50 not exactly hard is it

not doing it my self, haven't really done anything like this before. The garage are expecting me at 13:30, and i need to know if it is a reasonable price.

I think its a bit much as once its up on ramps and accesible its a 10minute job. New gaskets what, couple of quid
This is the conection between the manifold and cat yea?????
Honestly do it yourself, its not hard!

it will take about an hour 2 an hour an a half maybe more if there is problems with studs etc. so £50 isnt bad cause most garages charge about £30 per hour

Ah rite, never done one of those before. Urm 2 hrs plus the gasket. talking about £22.50 an hour labour. but no way will it take 2 hours IMO. not too bad, my mechanic's around £40 an hour
