Just finished putting a GSi suspension setup on my 1.2. Its about 40mm higher than before.
Got to say, it holds the corners well and don't understeer as much. If anything its a mix of understeer and oversteer, which is nice.
Tracking is a bit out too, for some reason. Before it used to pull to the left a little, now it pulls to the right. I find that rather strange.

All the springs were shorter but thicker. And dampners a lot tougher.

I'm not stupid.
40mm is compared to old suspension, with 13" wheels on. I got 14" wheels and suspension made for a 1.6 16v engine.

I just got back from Vuax and they said to me: "We can't re-track your car". I was thinking, its not gonna pass anymore MOTs. Then they said their jig was broke lol.
The right wheel is way out (toed out) apparently.

No thanks steve. Although I am trying to find a hoist to lift that engine into my car, will probably be putting the gearbox in too.

mike - my mate ordered gsi bilstein kit for his sri, it raised it too, he asked demon tweeks for new springs and they said no, so he got on to trading standards and he's now getting springs and the cost of fitting them.

No this 'suspnension kit' is the standard GSi stuff about 20% of the cost of proper kits lol.
