How easy is it to go about painting the interior parts e.g. door handles,etc.?>>following the ''Cobra 148’s Painting Guide''. has anyone tried this method..... wud like to know,as may try this!-any pics welcome.

Painted all these parts smoke grey metallic. I think it looks good:

No, but heres mine:
1. Key the surface with 1200 wet/dry paper. (use dry)
2. Spray about 4-5 coats of plastic primer. Leave to dry overnight.
3. Smooth the surface with 1200 wet/dry paper. (use wet, hot soapy water) until the surface feels liks glass. It won't take much to get it like that so be careful you don't rub the primer off.
4. Spray the required colour, 3-4 coats. Leave overnight to dry.
5. Spray laquer evenly over the surface, but not to heavy as if it runs you'll have to start again. Leave a couple of night before polishing to a nice shine.
This method works for me everytime.
