Direct port with progressive controller is the way to go. Uprate your head gasket, con rod bolts and spark plugs first though and limit the hit to 50bhp.

You might not 'have' to, but I certainly wouldn't risk any ammount of NOS without the above done as a minimum.

Thats fine you're entitled to your opinion!! I have been running n2o for over 6 months and had no problems what so ever. 3CM take it you saw the rapid diesel golf on top gear then?

born_upsideout have u had any actual dyno runs with / without nos... or 1/4 miles with / without etc... just curious to see the difference?

I know people have said in the past that you spray in 50 bhp and you only really get 25 ... etc

I was thinking about a 15bhp per cylinder direct port nitrous system for the Coupé. Should see me into the high 13's on the 1/4 mile.

I forgot to ask how long does your bottle last in every day use (like u would normally use it) and how long does it last if your just constantly gunning it with your 50 bhp shot?

I must admit I did like the way they had it set up in that golf, a switch to turn it on and off and only when its on and you have your foot down it engages - hence stops u accidently wasting it.
