Does anybody know if theres a way of recording streaming audio off windows media player into an mp3 or other type of file?!

Connect your speaker wire to your microphone socket on your soundcard and open sound recorder in Windows and press record. The file will save as a *.wav file which can be converted to an mp3 if you want by using a converter... Plug your headphones into the headphone socket in your soundcard or CD drive cos you might be able to hear what you are recording...

Just tried that and it only lets me record 60 seconds and it's really faint and cracklely!
