i agree 6 years isnt enough. He was only caught cos of DNA on the brick or something like that. I dont see how it can be manslaughter though, what the hell did he expect to happen when he chucked a brick that a lorry going at least 65 was about to hit?!

6 years for throwin a fucking brick off a bridge at a truck! thats not manslaughter its murder!!! 6 years in prision, he will be able to apply for parole in 3 - 4 years! thats some bloody sentence. Respect to the family that this person has probably ripped apart.

This happened when i was at college 5 mins down the road from the bridge that he threw it from, he deserved a lot longer than that IMO

Fucking disgrace

The court heard Harman had drunk at least eight pints of lager during the evening and was walking home with a friend.

They tried unsuccessfully to steal a car before Harman threw the brick from the bridge, the court heard.

Harman's not guilty plea to the murder charge was accepted by the court after he admitted throwing the brick to "annoy drivers and interfere with traffic flow".

His sentence will be served in youth detention until he is 21.

At least he was jailed, most get off scot free. I had a rock crash thru the windscreen of my truck a couple of years ago on the M4. Police never caught anyone and reckoned it was pikies nearby

Disgraceful.

I heard on the radio the lorry driver was found 3 hours later by a patrol car.

The brick hit the 53 year old drivers chest and caused him to have a heartattack.

LEAST the filthy scum could have done after he realised he'd hit the truck was phone 999
