Booked in for a 3hour rolling road mapping session at AmD Technik.
Should be ripping up the tarmac even more soon.

I'm the man. Like an idiot booked the remap before the exhaust was fitted.
Just rung around and now I'm also booked in to get a custom exhaust made up for it at 8am on the same day. Gonna be a rush.

Standard ECU getting re-written. The Astra Turbo ECU's are good for at least 270bhp.
I'm hoping for around 240-245bhp this time round but ultra smooth and lag free.

AmD have a very good rep. Better than the Courtenay's and Regal's of this world.

It's a known fact that Courtenay and Regal etc.. use a generic map and just download that onto every car that comes in for an upgrade. AmD on the other hand rolling road the car before hand and create a custom map specifically for that car and improve all flat spots etc..
At a recent RR day, I've heard AmD maps pissed all over the others. The 'others' were normally way down on their quoted estimates.
Guess, I'll just wait and see. I'll post up the graphs on Friday, hopefully they will be very good.

It's always been my (bitter) experience that you should never try to rush these things. Hope it all falls into place for you though

*Update*
Car went in for full system yesterday. Pretty happy with the result, although you can definately feel more power it doesn't come in till later. Seems pretty dead now till 2,700rpm then REALLY kicks in. Before the exhaust it seemed to come in at about 2,000rpm without a kick.
Got it booked in for it's mapping this afternoon though so suppose that will all get smoothed out. Will be interesting to see the before and after BHP and lb/ft.
