yeah anything above 100 is quick enough for most ordinary people. Its enough to overtake if needed etc.

Properly tuned C16's can get about 200bhp, will cost a lot of money to do that but you get good handling because it's a small block engine and you use the apropriate gearbox for that engine - i.e. lightweight. C20XE's can get about 200-280bhp (maybe more) if they are very well tuned, but they are big block engines and use the heavier gearboxes. LET's can get 300bhp, but will oncur the same handling problems as the C20XE. Quite a few car engineers say that on a large saloon car it is not physically possible to put more than 220bhp through the front wheels of the chassis as the loss of traction would be too great. This power would be reduced in a Corsa as there is less weight in the vehicle so it can roll back on it's back wheels far easier, thus causing wheelspin...

I found this out researching cos I want a fast Corsa... Some of it could be quite wrong cos I got most of the stuff from here and MIG. But the thing about max power in a FWD car came from Saab, and I was told the same thing when I went to look at Aston uni for my Design and Engineering course...

Serious enough for ya snowy?

It had EVERYTHING on it, the spec list for the engine was about 2 pages long... Doesn't an LSD only help accelerating around corners - 60mph round roundabouts for you or me
