Did a 250 round trip yesterday to pick me 2.0 8valve 130 cav sri engine

Had to strip the fecker into three parts, gearbox, lump and head

Gearbox werent to bad but fuck me how heavy's the lump Cant imagine me 1.4 weighing anything near that

Manadged to fit everything in the back

Back was sitting a lot lower

May not look low to those of you that have mega low cars but trust me the front end was looking a lot higher

Lost a race to a mercedez sprinter on the way home there just wasnt enough weight on the front and the damn thing wouldnt go round the corners

Anyways a nice little pic of me new lump

Will be fitting it myself over the next month or two, cant wait

nice strong engines easy-ish to maintain tunable and i think they have more torque and less to go wrong 8v-16v

i know

Reasons i decided on it was it was a lot closer to me than any redtops i found on mig altho didnt look else where for one.

there cheap and reliable

and easy diy, plus the torque and i'm more of an 8v fan than a 16v, more fun to drive

Payed 130 for the lump, ecu, loom, and gearbox with 85,000 miles on the clock

Probably can get them cheaper but still cheaper than any redtop!
