Right I have searched but theres conflicting reports
Whats the best inlet manifold for money?
Will be working with pretty much standard engine other than exhaust...Maybe chipped and NOS'd in the near future..
Opinions please
X16XE btw

i would say mantzel power box as its also TUV aproved
also judging this on the fact i have seen great results from these too
also depends on what you want as Dlibas one gave patrick good results
and the lexmaul one (broaster got one aint you?) is more for midrange grunt where the others perform better at higher revs

ok well here we go:
velos torque tube, cheaper version of the manzel, but o nthe c16xe engine the manzel gives better power than the velos, the lexmaul one gives good power too but works in a different way, only the top half of the inlet is replaced, i do have one and am very impressed with it, but its now forsale if your interested!

Chip+Exhaust system+Filter+Mantzel has= over 160BHP, i have never heard of this happening when using a velos tube, mantzel can throw up some suprises its my favourite

they are basically the same, but for some freak of a reason the manzel one performs better on the c16xe than the velos one will do, on the x16xe they have similar results!

i think it has something to do with the fact that the heads are different slightly and with the mantzel you run a X16XE lower inlet when fittin a power box to the C16XE

Yesh, Darren if your getting a manifold there was a cheap mantzel and chip in classified but think it might be sold now
I'd go for velos and a unichip or just get nos
