i bought some 17" wheels today, 205/40/17 BSA 239s
i took em to the tyre shop to have em fitted but they wont go on coz they seem to be hitting the anti roll bar when i do a full lock to the left. so how come every other corsa driver with 17s doesnt seem to have this problem and they also said that my arches cant be rolled out coz of my bodykit i have on the car, i have the full carzone body kit including front/rear bumpers and sideskirts and arches.
why does this always have to happen to me, i must have the worst luck ever, all i wanted was for my 17s to go on
how can i sort this out, do i have to change my body kit?
who else has got 17s with the same problem of hitting their wheel on the rollbar with a full lock to the left?

40 or 42 i think, i offset the one which is on the tyre where it says 205/40/17
and how will the offset stop it from hitting the anti roll bar?

The offset is dependant by the wheel, its NOT on the tyre

the 40 is the profile mate, it should be on the actual wheel somewhere.... for 17's the offset gotta be 42->49 without cutting ur arches back.. correct me if im wrong

Well if the offset is too high (the wheel sticks in too far) you could buy spacers to make it stick out further, that should work. but depending on the offset of the wheels spacers may be a bad idea because it increases the chances of rubbing on the arches

Usually behind the alloy, when the hub is. I have 17" et37 and there is no rubbing on the arches on full lock, but some modding was need on the rear arches
