Is the only clio sport the 172, or is there a sport 172 model? I was racing a sport yesterday and the guy looked very annoyed that i was keeping up with it, but im guessing if it was a 172 he would have been ahead? (I got standard C20XE on 17s and coilovers)

Those two blue Clio Cups were fcuking amazing around the track, only thing that handled better than them was the old shape Mini's

Fast as fap, CTR's could'nt get past them it was wicked

Although Nismo, that red GSi with the 2.0 16v was also doing very well against so called faster cars.

only thing that confused me was that there was no 172 on the car, it just said sport. Still, theres no way i could have kept up with it in my 1.4, so I managed to suprise him!

Dave at V-Tuning. Also owns a Lotus Carlton, phase 3.5 Turbo Calibra etc.

Only had 2 cars pass him on the day he said, 1 being a cossie that he could catch on the corsas, (who says XE corsas dont handle!!!!!!!!!!!)

Daves 2.0 16v Corsa. Also retains original airbox, 288mm front brakes, rear discs using Calibra stuff (smaller calipers than Astra, work better he says).

in parkers it says 138mph, 7.9 0-60
for the focus st170 it says 134mph and 7.9 0-60

shouldnt the clio be a lot faster as it weighs fuck all and gets even lighter as it gets faster as bits fall off?

I was always led to believe the airbox wouldnt fit with a 2.0 conversion?
