took the rocker cover off to find dry gunky oil

which means there is no proper oil circulation
anyway cleaned the rocker cover and put back toghther the headgasket we knew was ill now its fucked, i er bounced it off the limiter for 20secs and shit loads of white smoke was pouring from the exhaust

so its proper gone now

question thou:- how do you clean the head? do i take it off the car and put gunk on it jet spray it and then let it dry out?

and how do i clean the oil feed and return pipe? if there possibly blocked?

was thinking use them wire things with a brush on the end and use some engine flush??

cheers adam

I used a wire brush to get the carbon off the pistons/valves etc, it works well.

white smoke could be down to your head gasket.

lol there the easiest engines to work on ever in my opinion! had exactly the same thing happen on a car I had in, was funny seeing all of the pistons with water on top
