No not saying its not quick or anything...but I was imagining 172 BHP in a car weighing 800kg to be a lot quicker...maybe just me

well due to a lot of hype, people do tend to get dissapointed, it's a nice car to drive though, and nice interior but quite cramped

Straight line they are not all that but start chucking it around and its quite impressive. Defiantely a scooby chaser down the lanes.

They are quicker and lighter. Its not all about speed, they out handle 172's as well as being faster.

had a test drive in a 182 last week. cup would totally dick on it, if i was to get one it would defo be the cup. 182 isnt a great deal quicker than mates 16v, plus it didnt go round corners as well.

ST170'S O dear
I had a blast against a 172 last weekend from the lights then around a big sweeping bend the on a straight up to about 80mph.
It was level before the bend then i went ahead..on the straight again and it was level again..
It sounded well nice i rekon

THe 172 came in normal std and cup. The 182 is the newer version and the CUP isn't done but they offer a sports package which they add lighhter wheels and better suspension to the std 182.
