nip down the scrappys and buy a GSI 2000, check make sure its Red Top, i think they all are. Try to find one with a f**ked back end,Youll get one for 7/800 squid, and then youll have the calipers+discs too(and gearbox)cheap at arf the price!!!

You need the C20xe out of astra GTE, cavalier GSI2000 etc and yesh like suggested if possible much better to buy the whole car and use as much as possible brakes etc then brake and sell the rest to get some £££ back

Look on www.migweb.co.uk
There are allways Cavalier GSi's for sale on there for around £500
Some even with MOT's still.
Off the cav you will use the front brakes, Engine, gearbox, ecu and engine loom

Forget the talk of buying cheap cav gsi's, rotten astra gte 16v's are readily available for £3/400. Same brakes, plus a digi dash

i pinched some fuses and bulbs out of an astra gte at local scrapyard, engine and gearbox were untouched ready for lifting out and putting in the engine tray. and another one but it was a cabriolet, with same engine
