On my corsa 1.2 just recently, a funny icon has been lighting up, then shortly after on breaking to a stop the car stalls all dashboard lights come on. Then a little bit of a burnging smell. At first i pressumed engine now im not too sure as the engine doesnt feel overheated/too warm.
The icon has a line on the top and a line on the left, then a funny shape, with a sideways z inside the funny shape, all of this on yellow background.
Just wondering if any1 knows what this is about, before i check it out at the garage, as it could be just somet little.
Cheers for any info.

cutting out when ur breaking suggests idle control or air/fuel mixture.
Wont be crank position sensor otherwise u'd have starting problems and likely not start. As said get the codes ...

Well, usually they aren't linked, but this time it seems like they are. After the light coming on the car starts to judder as if its in wrong gear, then shortly after it will stall.
It's in for repair wednesday, so hopefully get it sorted then.

the engine managment light only tells u there is a problem.
As said above u have to lookup what message the ecu has recorded.
this is either done by doing the paperclip test which costs nothing or taking it to vauxhall which will cost about £40.
