nearly everyone speeds its a fact of life and not just young people.

accidents happen.... people can get knocked down a killed by a car traveling at 20MPH just the same as 70 - 80MPH.....

if the wanna stop it they'll need to make everyone drive 1ltr micra's

I amlost died on Sunday night to some knob in a old fiesta speed and trying to over take down my street have to mount the payment to aviod him.
I think he is one of the knobs who hang around the shops near me, so I might have to have a word so to speak.

So yeah it is a good idea, and the fact is most people who are killed my speed motorists the motorist is young

Lets be realistic you don't need a fucking film to tell people driving at speeds is dangerous, even the chavs know this,

Like I said I think its a good idea I have seen the drink driving video and that makes you think, unless you are a complete gimp, anything that could prevent a loss of life is a good idea

I was speeding and caused an accident, hitting 2 other cars who stopped suddley. This has slowed me down a bit, but not a great deal. I dont think a video will make much different. Even my nan has been caught for speeding

IMO they should also show this to older genrations as well. I always feel as tho the problem is younger people obv hav less expereince but they also try an drive fast in cars that cannot handle it... i nearly got hit by a 17/18 yur old the other day who came flyin round a corner at some rdiculous speed in an old 306 that clearly cudnt cope, looked in me mirror an he was half way across the other side of the bloody road

I find that accidents are usually caused by mistakes other people make, Like slamming breaks on for no reason,

the only way imo to cut the number of speeding people is to cut the point system down to 1 point instead of 3 and raise the fines to £150-£200. Peoples driving abilitys should be assesed if they have 6 points (get caught 6 times) and have to retake their test and pay huge ass fine.

Same as, when you see one of your mates die in a car accident it makes you think twice about driving fast.

the only way anyone will learn is once they've had a crash themselves or been in one, a video probably wont do much coz u always think 'wont happen to me'

but there are times when it safe to "speed", and by speeding i dont mean 100+ mph, 50 in a 30 zone is bad enough, but not always dangerous

Ptishhhhh... Thats the sound of a can of bothered opening... Seriously, this aint gonna stop people speeding, we had to sit through similar videos in school, and apparently it was helping us become safe drivers... It goes into short term memory and you forget all about it after a few days. I think that the driving test should be re-evaluated and then impose restrictions upon young drivers, that would really help a lot more than some crappy propaghanda from the governemet...
