remove the air box
undo the cold air feed, then loosen the nut of the clip from the hose going from the airbox to the engine....

remove lid of the air box and to removed the whole thing u pull towards u and lift it up...

to fit the ind kit,

place the rubber ring inside the neck on the ind kit and place the clip that came with the ind kit around the neck of the cone, now slide the cone over the hose going to the engine....

secure the cone by inserting the long black screw thingy, into one of the holes from the airbox mounting holes and tighten the nut to secure..

u can but why would ya go to the hassle??

get a k& n pannel filter and drill you airbox. It will make all the noise u want if u drill it right and it wont suck in hot air.

1. Remove standard airbox.
2. Take one of the round rubbers off the air box (to go in the hole closest to the inlet pipe) if it is still on the airbox.
3. Put jubilee clip with clamp on to air filter followed by other clip.
4. Bolt clamp in to airbox rubber hole.
5. Put inlet pipe onto filter and jubilee clip on to pipe.
6. Tighten Jubilee clips.
7. Find a garage that wont rip you off should you want anything else fitting to your car.

I know a lad that did that too!
Showed me it and burst out laughing!!!!!
Chucked my inductin kit on for him to try then he got a pipercross 2nd hand.

As for drilling an airbox, loads of holes in any areas away from engine in the BOTTOM of the box, AND MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE PIPE IN THE TOP OF THE BOX.
