Right, since Lee fitted my 16xe its easily pulled to the limiter in 5th fcuk knows what was done to it but its bloody quick..
Anyways
Racing a cavvy sri down to southend the other night down the a12 and i topped out at 118mph, on the limiter, on my digi dash. The cav was pretty impressed and flashed me etc, pulled into a petrol station and he reckons we was doing over 130mph
What speed do you reckon i was doing on a f15 g/box??
I know my dash is 1/16th out due to the transducer... so 125mph???

Basically needs some1 to work out the maximum speed possible @ max. revs in 5th on an F15. There is a list somewhere. I doubt its far over 120mph, if at all.

my 1.6 is slow
maybe it's due to the big bodykit and big wheels

Ask Andy Hamilton what gearbox he has, I'm sure he is running a F15 and his car managed 134mph and still had more left in it.

I achieved 134.4mph with X16XE producing 214bhp. I didn't glance at the rev counter (was too busy keeping the car steering straight ). With a mildly tweeked X16XE, you may get near to 125mph on a long enough stretch of road
