Hi all
Fitting a suspension kit, is this something I could do myself? I don;t really want to so if anyone knows of a garage that is good for this in particular that would be good (in Cardiff or nearby)

Also, I have standard Sxi wheels at the moment, alloys should be coming by the mid/end of the summer but have no idea what size yet. Can i happily lower now and sort wheels later ? (Note that I won;t be able to stretch to 17in, just a student at the mo )

Not sure how much I would like it lowered, but I want to have the option to install 16in wheels if I choose to. But as I may not have the dollar to get wheels for a while it needs to be fine with my standard sxi crappy alloys (crappy as chipped by previous owner.....honest ! ) So that's what I need to check, hope that makes sense.

And a cruise to Swansea is never a problem

Thats very nice of you but I am not sure what I'm doing yet. LIke I say above, I have standard wheels and would hopefully be getting 16s in the not too distant future. So I'd like a full kit that would cope with both Sxi standard wheels and future wheels ( 15 or 16 ....can't afford 17!) . Hope that makes some sense

Maybe I should wait til I get the wheels, but that might be a while

if you get a -40 drop then you'll be fine for up to 16's.
Let me know but I won't be back in cardiff after Mid june till late september unless I bring the nova over to go to llandow in it.

i managed to do the front suspension on my own, and the rear with a mate. First 'major' mechanical job ive done on my own, and it wasnt that hard with the haynes manual and lots of cups of tea! Great feeling when you finish it too, without having to pay someone.
