sounds very cheap
well in comparison to over here .
i read in the paper and add for a local clutch and brake place and they used a fiesta as an example and they were looking for 375 euros

well the x14xe engines are supposed to have a standard flywheel which means the clutch can be changed quite easily by just removing the first motion shaft outta the gearbox. this should take less than an hour to do
however, just because the x14xe should have a standard flywheel doesnt mean it will have one. mine had a standard flywheel but the box was unable to have the motion shaft taken out so the whole fecking box had to come out
just make sure the garage knows exactly what they are taking on before you take it to them (ie get them to check what type of box you got) or you may end up with a much bigger bill than originally thought
and the book time on the easy type clutch is something stupid like 20 mins and the difficult fucker has a book time of around 6 hours (i think)
