I used masking tape to do some spraying and come 2 peal it off, and has left loads of sticky stuff behind, and doesnt come off. Iv use hot soapy water and didnt work
And help???

Fairy Liquid, with no water, rub it on, leave it for a min, then wash off.

yeah petrol will work good, or white spirit or even nail-polish remover.

depends what paint he used, nail polish remover may bring it off.

as long as he doesnt let the spirit sink in and wipe if off quickly he'll be ok. I did this when cleaning some plastic interior bits and bobs.

Yeah the halfords tar remover spray is good - contains petroleum distillates so is basically the same as using a bit of petrol on it
