Where the hell would I go and do this?

What sort of price is a cheap one with no attachments at all? I don't want to go fishing with it, I just need a long flexible pole type thing.

bit of a waste on spending few hundred quid on a fishing rod just so you can poke something with it
but if you just after a flexible pole, then get a carbon-fibre tent pole or something, alot cheaper than a decent fishing rod (cheapy ones will break)...although with a fishing rod you could actually go fishing

eitherway, click HERE for all your needs

They're flag poles, the company that sold me the flags said thats what they've used in the past and I should source one locally - but I've no idea!

So a pole is just a long rod?

a pole has no lil holes in where the fishing line runs thru or a reel, its just as long pole which connects together and the line attatchs to elastic at the end of the rod.

a whip can come in telescopic form but its just the same as a pole but smaller
