my mates quite a bulky lad, 16stone but he used to be very toned and thick set, beer and fast food sorted that out and now he wants to get back to his old state

whats the best workout for him and could people suggest what diet?

aint 100% sure on this like but wouldn`t he go back to what he did when he 1st started ? and same foods as before , think ur supposed to have more protein and carbohydrates in ur diet too?

i suggest cut out the food and drink intake, and exercise wise, more of light weights.

well ben this is why im asking mate, coz i dont know if it would be wise to do what he did before, as he was only 11stone, and wanted to BUILD body mass, this time he's trying to get rid of fat and turn it to bulk

if he's got the bulk and wants to cut, better to do high rep workouts with lighter weights, also alot of cardio work to burn excess fat. The weights will tone the relevant body parts and promote muscle shape too, but if we wants to train seriously he would need to lay off beer. High intake of carbs, moderate protein [as he does not wish to put on anymore muscle I take it?] and sum fat in there too. Drink alot of water, possibly supplement with L-Glutamine and creatine and should be sorted after a few months of solid training.

iv hit the water, used to be cut etc, kind of give up over xmas tho and neva got back to it wil start doing me routine again, 10 reps each on the multigym machine, 500 steps on the stepper, then jump on the bike for 5 mins repeat twice maybe 3 times then off home

atkins diet makes you lose bodily fluids and lots of water, ot fat, the fat stays on you, but the water doesnt

i never really had fat, i use bronze rated suppliments and trained every 2 days, put muscle on fast and noticed good gains

ill ask my mate tomorrow , hes a big fucker and will not take any drugs to do it , he does it all through food and training , i think this is best way and it obviously works. ill have a word tomorrow and post on here when i get in

do alot of exercise to burn off the fat like running , cycling, aerobics excercies etc. and eat right and healthy!

Eat lots of fruit and veg. That's about as much as i know. I'm dead skinny really and eat what ever i fancy really. Normally something quick that doesn't make much mess and dishes as i had having to clean up
