would you put your cover letter writing in the main e-mail where you put a e-mails message with the CV attached?

or would you send a e-mail with the cover letter and cv attached with just a short message in the e-mail saying my name and that i am applying to a placement they have advertised, and that i have my cover letter attached with my cv.

any suggestions would be much appriciated

yeah m2rv h i think both attached with a little short message saying what i am applying for and a statement saying i have my cover letter and cv attached. Think this would be best because i think my CV would look pants in a standard e-mail

what does anyone else think. about to send
