Is it difficult to get good results, or if I just take my time can I make it look profesional. I got an air compressor, and want to have a painted interior... So I'm considering getting a spray gun and doing it myself. Should I do it???

its all about taking ur time and learning from your mistakes.
A good book to buy is a book in Halfords by Haynes cheap at £15 but it'll tell u a hell of alot before u've even begun to spray anything
its called the bodyshop/bodyrepair manual or summut

I'm doing the whole dash, and all of the plastics, so I can't do it with cans... I'll by the book, take me time and see how it goes

small tank, but a bigish compressor that, tank size does not meen that the compressor is any bigger.
i got 2 tanks with 2 compressors rigged up together, finnish is 100% better when i use both compressors rather than just the one.

have to agree there Kris, good compressor component, but the tank empties quite quickly, have to let it refill every so often. It can help tho, as gives you time to get some fresh air...

true, to a degree, to be honest people make it out too be a lot harder than it is, aslong as you get the right paint too air mixture and dont spray too close or not put enough on on each layer then your fine.

what we have done with ours is got a huge empty gas bottle, and use that as an extra tank, works very well.

Agreed, lots of fine layers is much better than trying to do one great thick layer...

i disagree with that.
i find doing a thin layer, then a wet layer gives a deeper finnish rather then loads of thin coats.
can get loads of overspray on the panel if you dont put enough on in on go and it comes out lumpy.
