I am lookin to get another amp for my install, I am goin to use the power cable i am using now to power them both as it is easily strong enough, however, would i need to run another RCA cable and remote cable from the headunit to the new amp?

cheers

No, for the RCAs, if one of your amps have buffered pre-outs, you can simply run another set of RCA's from these to your other amp. If both your amps only have RCA inputs, then you can use a couple of Y-Splitters like THESE or THESE to split each signal (L and R) to each amp

The remote you can do in two ways. You can either run one remote lead from your headunit to 1 amp (like you currently have now), and then run another wire from this amp to your other amp. There is a danger by doing this of overloading the REM output on your headunit, but it should be ok for up to around 3 amps

The safer option for the remote lead is to use a relay. This is very simple to do but a little difficult to explain without drawing and i cant really be arsed at the minute. If you want to know how to do this, let me know and i'll explain it

With regards to your power cable, just make sure the power cable IS capable of supplying enough power to both amps. Better safe than on fire

Aye, makes sense. I'd just run another set of RCA's, bridge the remote across as mentioned above and split your power with a distribution block and Bob's your uncle!
