This was and old track i produced (over a year ago), but i have re-mastered the whole track and cleaned up sections etc etc.
Eitherway, just posting this for some feedback (good or bad  ) on it and what you all think of it

p.s - i have already guessed that its abit repetative and gets abit boring towards the end, but any ideas on how to brighten it up and suggestions are welcome

Listening to it now - its pretty good for a remix, I didn't like the original song (pre-remix) - but this is alright.

Takes a bit to long to get going for my likeing, and bring the bass up a db maybe?
Not sure about the lyrics @ 56sec, clash with the beat
and 1.14, just sounds odd :S

yea, ill look into the bass...might change is slightly, to a more raw synthy sound....but since i did it over a year ago, need to find the original files (plus make sure i have all of the VSTs and plugins that i had back then) 
tar adam for the times, will help loads

Just finished listening to it - it's pretty good, just doesn't help I hate that 'what a girl wants' track ... other than that it'd be decent

Guessing your using Cubase then
CUBASE ?!?! pfffftttt.....nah. ive had to learn SX over the last 2 years for A-levels, but its bollox, especially when using vsts and plugins, its more midi based program. I use good old fruity loops...its very simplistic, but offers good support for vsts and plugins etc plus its nice an easy to use...unlike cubase  i use protools (with my external digi 001 box) and loads of other peices of software like Cool Edit and T-Racks (for mastering).

fruity loops allthough good is hardly anywhere near as profesional as cubase / logic audio.
much more fun tho

personally, cubase is bollox...its good for midi and using audio files (Protools is far superiour to cubase in audio recording, thats what i use instead) but when you want to use VSTs and plugins its shocking. The UI is terrible....although like i said, is pretty good for midi stuff.
Logic, yea i agree good piece of kit...although ive never had a propper play with it, so i dunno what its like to use. But again, i its similar to protools, except it isnt restricted to the RTAS plugins....which cost an arm and a leg for protools....some of my plugins cost me 500 quid a pop  couldnt find them on special K either
At the end of the day, its not what you use, its how you use it....and since i know my way around FL extremely well, thats what i use. However, i do agree, it does lack the sound engine for a decent production....but then again, i dont think cubase SX is all that in terms of the used sound engine, still sounds w*nk.

Agreed cubase is good for midi work etc but not my fav prog. Fruity loops is cool, pretty quick to use Got a load more programs somewhere but it's a while since I was into all that

i just think cubase functions are hiden to much in the UI. If i want to wack a cut in a part in fruity, its a simple case of sending the synth/audio to an effects channel, wack a filter plugin on and voila its sorted (or from the options window on the synth/audio file). Under cubase, it took me nearly an hour to work out how to do that or how to control external effect plugins
Like i said though, the sound engine in cubase is alot better....but i cant justfy it enough to make me want to swap over, especially since alot of my work is software based, rather than live recordings or midi to external racks/synths/sound modules etc
