Should i put it down im my hall or just leave it It's not gonna cost me nothing as i already heve it but the dude in the shop said i won't need it. If i put it down then i will need to cut the bottom of 3 doors The carpet is nor gonna get that much wear so i'm unsure what to do

if it'd gonna run up the stairs then yes as it will absorb the noise of people running up and down them

underlay makes the carpet ur walking on alot softer and therefore more comfortable aswell as reducing noise...........its cheap as fuck to buy so just get it, and get sum1 in to plane ur doors down slightly

I did 2 doors when the rest of the carpet was put down but it was real hard work even with 2 mates holding the door, it was just going everywhere

I haven't got any stairs and the noise is not a problem as the floor is concrete.

I'll see what the carpet is like without the underlay and if it's shit i'll put some down
