Hiya,
I have a few questions i need answers to:
I have fitted Full scorpion exhaust system [nothing too loud] and
installed SL1X 200mm Induction kit/heat sheild/cold air feed.
Car is a 1.2 16v ....what other modifications can i do that are fairly cheap
to make the car faster/responsive.
Presently the car only does 110mph...i want to get the most out of it.
Another question:
My insurance is sky high due to a crash last year and insuring my modifications....anyone have the liverpool victoria website/phone number?
Adrian flux quoted me 1800 :O
Anyone have any opinions on the Fly Catcher Bodykit for corsa C from abstyling.co.uk ? I tihnk its the one im going to purchase...
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Flycatcher is nice if you want to go OTT...really only suits cars with mad jap styling elsewhere on the body.
Insurance - try Norwich Union. Mod friendly and very cheap. (www.norwichunion.com)
Cheap mods that'll make the car faster? Strip out the rear Maybe new cams?

Looking at what u've done already nothings gonna be that cheap to do now if u want better performance ad it'll put your premium up a lot of u do anyway. I'm talkin stuff like cams, chippig etc. I'd worry more about acceleration anyway, my car is standard engine wise and only does 112 according to vaux so i'd be happy with 110 out of a 1.2 anyway cause where u gonna get to do anything like that speed in this country now with all the speed taps etc. if your car is a track car it may be worth it but othewise i'd worry about the acceleration and not top speed.
if i were u 'd do as has already been said and try and loose a bit of weight from the car, maybe back seat if that pactical for u or just stuff like spare wheel etc etc it may improve your 0-60 etc otherwise if u not happy wit that u gonna have go for more expensive mods like cams, chippin etc
this is just my opinion u may totally disagree, but like i say thats what i'd do

hmm that insurance with mods DLM_Corsa?
Thanks for the above input, ill take it into consideration...i agree i rarely get the chance to do over 100 ne ways so i tihnk i will concentrate on acceleration...but taking out seats and spare wheel wont help all that much? Maybe i just need a thinner bird
What kind of thing apart from weight can i do to get my acceleration faster/responsive?
I think personally out of all the bodykits, that the flycatcher looks most appealing...mainly because it is OTT and changes the way the car looks.
Dont know bout you guys but im getting fed up of seeing every other car being a fucking corsa! i just want mine to be that tad different from everyone elses )
Any suggestions welcome...

Nah don't like flycacher kit, especially on the C it looks w*nk. IMO Jap style kits should be left for Jap cars. There's loads of kits you can go that will make it look different without looking too OTT.

Cams and high lift rockers, think thats right but i'm not an expert, def cams but the high lift bit i not sure on! LOL, and/or a chip, u could also try a drilled airbox rather than an induction kit, some people think this is better.
When u say full exhaust system, have u got rid of the CAT? that'll improve ya BHP etc too but it is illegal and u will fail an MOT without one, unless u've got a friend whos a tester!
