I was told b4 a new master key costs £700 ! I dont have spare key but has the imobaiser (sp) thing in the keyI need new alarm fib as well plus i need the front bumper fixing and sprayed again

I'm pretty sure it wont cost £700 to get a new set of keys done, cos if you go to Fiat with your chassis number they can order you a new set from the factory... I reckon it will be £100 at the most. I'd be really shocked if they charge you £700 to just cut you a new set of keys and program it to work with your imobiliser...

For my corsa it was gonna be £70 for a new transponder key! I never lost my keys, just locked them in my car allot!
But I could break into my car in less than a minute without doing any damage so I wasn't too fussed!

yesh, as for those who dont know about fiats i shall explain..
as paul has lost all keys to the car (and the all important red master key) he has to buy a new one, and unfortunately an ECU aswell, as for some reason the people at fiat made it so ya fooked if ya loose your red master key....

Red key allows you to open the car and Start it,
Blue key allows access th the car only.
Stupid idea me thinks
And yes they cost a stupid amount to replace.
