As some of you may know I took the SXi Power on the strip yesterday... The first race I had was against BluecorsaSxi (1.2 16v with zaust, decat and filter) and I've only got a zaust + filter...

Anyway our race was quite close and I passed the finish just before him.

However when we went for our rematch - the queuing bit kept fucking up so we were forced to go against other cars...

Here is a video of me (thanks ned) racing a red Nova that got 14.2 seconds... Considering I got 18.8 (not bad for a 1.2 and the hot weather) It really does look like I got shat on badly

Good fun though...

I'm guessing he had a 2.0 16v with Throttle bodies considering it was a 14.2 1/4 mile he got.

Was a bit pissed off - a race with a 1.4 or 1.6 would of been more fun.

The problem was the heat, by the time I got into 3rd my car just stopped accelerating, where as when its cold (i.e. at night) I usually get into 3rd and am hitting 70 ish and changing to 4th in no time... down the strip yesterday it took forever to hit 70...

Ah cheers mate cool pic too...

you can see me leaning over and saying 'rob - if the guy tells u to move on, DON'T DO IT!!! we're racing against each other!!!' - Then the guy pointed to say rob move on... rob waited and the guy was having a fit (basically coz of queue wanted everyone to go in 2's and the guy ahead was on his own)... hence I ended up with a red nova

I did think that was you mate... Coz the car looked like the one in your avatar - but wasn't sure...

Didn't want to say 'are you adam b' - and then have you look at me funny - I did say to rob I thought you were adam b. the joke is - after changing places we still ended up getting shuffled (and not racing against each other lol)
