When i turn my system up, my sub starts to sound a bit dodgy, an i think it's flapping. When i turn the bass down on the headunit, it reduces it, but u can still hear it when ur lookin in the boot. Is this the amp or the box or what ??? Apparently its a 1.3 cu.ft ported box. Should i go for a smaller sealed one ???

Set the crossover on the amp to a lower setting...

wat frequency tho, mine was set at 125hz, now its at 80 it sounds a lot better.

a leak in the box wouldnt help, one of my boxes came apart once, and it sounded wank.

how would i change that ??? I'll get a pic of dial things an put it up. It's not the best amp in the world, so i'm thinking of changing anyway.

these are all the things i can adjust on top of the amp.
Its's only a cheap legacy amp. Can anyone recommend something to replace it with ?? 4 channel if possible.

Just been outside and changed the low pass dial thingy !!! (see below)
I had 2 put the numbers in cos they didn't come out in the picture. I think i've put it around 80ish (it was above half !!!)
I'm not too sure however what to do with the level and bass boost ??? I've stuck both on half, but not sure if i'm still underpowering the sub ???
