alrite mate i'm eighteen driving a 1.2 16v it's very quick for a 1.2!! i would suggest you get one only insurance group 3!
Try www.admiral.com really good qoutes for me.
i've got accident/3points!
And do pass plus i helps loadz!

Huge mate... My mates got a 1.6 Sport and he's 19 with 1 years no claims paying £1500 a year. It get something a little less fast at 17... Unless you want to pay through the roof Btw im driving a 1.4 8v and mines £1k and im 18.

Shit!! looks like able 1.2 den! i aint really afta da powa, well i am but not to go mad wiv but i wanned a 1.4 as its got good spec n is great for a base car!!

Depends how much you wanna spend i guess... 1.2 8v is sloooooooow, my 1.4 8v is slow as well but its got some life in it somewhere . Try and get a 1.2 16v, good little cars to start in

Yea woz gonna get a 1.2 16v ls but had a few probs so i walked away thinkin thered be loads more, but aint been able to find 1

try norwich union with a pass plus i dont think it will be over £1500 i was paying £900 fully comp pass plus with them and i was 18 and 2 months

when i bought mine at 19 with 2 years no claims i paid £1300 with mods declared, now at 21 with 3 years no claims i pay 700 mods declared, will hopefully have 4 years no claims next month so will hopefully go down again.

I think it will be a hell of a lot for u to get insured on one at 17 as someone said i'd stick with a 1.2 16v for now that'll be bad enough

mate u gotta push these insurance companies, when speaking to them and tell them to give you a better price, phone elephant or Hyperformance (my insurance company) should get summin more realistic unless u gotta wanky post code

Se19 m8 dunno wot its like, does any 1 no?? norwhich union were tha first i got a quote off n i though 1900 was hi but they are getti worser!! i no ill ring norwhich union bac and teel them i hav had a better quote elsewhere n if i tell them i do 5000miles a year they mite lower it??

SE19 isn't good as its London (no offence) norwich union aint bad but can be mucho £££!! 5k miles a year would lower it I reckon as u're driving less often therefore less chance of a crash

i'm 18 (19 tomorrow hooray!) and on my 1.4 16v sport i was paying £1986 on my insurance and from tomorrow it will be £1295 with a 1yr ncb both with tesco's
