paddy the car wont heat upwhilst driving as the cold air will cool it down very easily whilst driving

its only when ure stood stillthat it will ever heat up. try a lower thermerstat so fan kicks in sooner

I know this mate,
but as soon as its stood for a while the temperature shoots up.
Even Paul said when he'd loaned it for a week how the temperature was scary when u were sat a while.
Id just prefer to have a bigger radiator in now mate but cheers for the help.

put the fan on a switch on dash. rad cools air going in2 engine whilst moving, aint gonna have any air going in2 it when stood still, hense why the fan comes on

if u switch it on when stood still it will cool it down easier

my fan often comes on just going throught the drive through,i doubt a bigger rad would change that as it's due to no airflow over it. i have a cool running stat on aswell but that only allows the engine to warm up quicker not stop it over heating.

right sassy,
u know the wiring the is for the indicators in the headlight.
I need that wiring plus the bulb bit that goes in the headlight.
When i fitted them morrettes i cut that wiring bit off and fitted led indicators. But they dont use as much current as the bulbs so they are ticking too fast. I phoned the boydhop and he said to fit the existing wiring back in and run the new led indicators in series with it and that should stop them ticking too fast.

wot u can alos do if it is over heating is to take the sensor of the radiator which connects the fan and bypass it with a piece of wire therefore the fan will be on constantly and the engine wont over heat !!!

I must admit I did not like driving yours then so god knows what it is like now in extreme heat mate, a decent radiator should make all the difference mate I would think anyway
