i have cool edit pro, its not really a DJ'ing program, but its used by hip-hop producers such as 9th Wonder (who produced 'Threat' off Jay-Z's 'The Black Album'. You can do allsorts of stuff wid it, and if ur good u can make mixes, but u have to chop out parts of tracks etc...

^^ Double check the options mate, make sure your card is selected in the main master output, otherwise, it be stuffed (i havnt got a clue...email techy support)

Eitherway, Traktor is pretty good...although the newer versions are alot more complicated, in terms of the UI and controls. Personally version 1.06 was better and is simpler to use
