Hit a curb at 55mph and the edge of the rim has split inward. Got 17" Dare V2. How can these be fixed?

It may be the case that the wheel has buckled and may not balance up right, at that speed its possible. if it were me, id get a new rim, just for peace of mind. If its just bent im sure there are companies that can straighten them out, my dad had a 19" rim straightned once im sure.

Do you mean the edge of the rim has bent in towards the tyre so the tyre edge is overlapping? I'd get it checked out at a balancing garage as this could result in all kinds of things..internal puncturing, un-balanced wheels, degrading tracking.. just for peace of mind get it checked.
If its just a case of cosmetic breakage then any alloy wheel refurbisher should be able to sort it out cheaply.

tyre in fine but the edge that gets curbed has fold in, eg alloy being hit with a chisel from tyre side inwards

Take it to a tyre place and get them to check its not buckled then take it to be refurbed, iirc about 40 notes a rim
