think a dog box is straight cut, the gears aint smooth to engage, the gears just lock in place straight away, also the box makes a whining noise which i kinda like, thats how i understand it any way

dogbox is like the straight cut boxes you can get for minis, cuts shifting time loads and will take bigger power/stronger for launching. Loads of rally cars have them Cost about 3500 IIRC

not sure what they used on the 1/4 they have used normal optimax and race fuel on the rollers though with some nice gains with race fuel
